LIFESTREAM

June 2020 Newsletter:

Every month LifeStream will bring a newsletter to those with disabilities and their families; some newsletters will bring data and statistics in regards to needs, and other newsletters will shed bright shining light on how blessed we are to have special needs children in our lives & how they make significant contributions to our society.

Falling Into Success in the Fox Valley: June 2020's River of Hope!

Well as we've completed the end of our fourth full year as a service provider for Wisconsin's premier Department of Workforce Development (DWD) for those with disabilities, LifeStream continues to receive outstanding qualified referrals for competitive employment. As with most start-up corporate businesses attempting to bring a new service and approach to an already existing industry that has countless vendors doing the same thing, new companies spend much time trying to carve out new ideas and ways of bringing success to the DWD/DVR consumer which in turn increases their hope of achieving independence to the fullest extent possible.

The question is: has LifeStream after our fourth year designed a protocol that will accomplish client goals? Yes...Yes...Yes!!! First & foremost, Diane Wegner, President, answers her phone, returns calls, stays in touch with clients & families, and establishes incredible relationships with area employers. Her communication and mediation skills pave a pathway for even the most challenging of cases that come across our desk.

Sonja Camden continues to supervise the administrative operations of LifeStream, as corporate policy for state compliance across several state agencies is imperative. Sonja holds years of experience with direct practice & administration. She meets with Diane on a regular basis to discuss client challenges and goals, and how best to move forward, regardless of how long it takes to achieve a successful placement and case closure.

During the first four years, we've been blessed to have placed clients in credit unions, restaurants, manufacturing, libraries, and/or retail, etc.; some for work experiences, some for employment, and others for job shadowing, all with the goal of gaining work experience and building strong marketable work skills for each client's resume.

So as we continue to move forward in 2020 & through the CoVid-19 Pandemic, we encourage our VR Counselors and potential clients to consider choosing LifeStream as your service provider. Quite often we receive consumer & counselor feedback that many find professionalism often lacking within the provider industry.

We continue dedication towards the following goals:

  • Compassion for all situations surrounding the client & their employment challenges
  • Commitment to doing whatever it takes to making 2020 a year of employment success
  • Coordinate opportunities that secure successful employment opportunities

During these challenging times of uncertainty we remain positive about our goals to promote your success , and look forward to hearing from you in the near future!
