Diane Wegner, President & Co-Founder:

Diane earned her Masters in Educational Leadership from Cardinal Stritch University, Milwaukee, WI in 2000. As a licensed educator and high school teacher she taught 17 years in the inner city of Milwaukee. She acquired vast knowledge of skills and empathy for the students with disabilities who were fully integrated into her classes. She also has extensive experience as a trained mediator, having served as a volunteer for the Milwaukee Victim Offender Reconciliation Program from 1986-1991. As a volunteer she facilitated meetings for perpetrators of crimes who were on parole to mediate with their victims in order to achieve a restitution that ended their parole. Diane also facilitated the structure and education needed to establish student-to-student (peer) mediation programs in 25 schools in the Milwaukee area. On the business side, Diane did communications training and conflict resolution for a large health care system in the Milwaukee area for 5 years. With this strong background in communications, mediation, and education, Diane understands the importance of and has the skills to build a positive rapport with the consumer and to also build a relationship of honesty and trust with both consumer and employer. Diane's understanding of this field is enhanced by the fact that she has had a life-long visual disability. Diane relaxes by bicycling, traveling, reading, and playing golf.

Sonja Camden, Founder & COO:

Sonja holds both a Bachelor and Masters of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington. Having been the parent of a son diagnosed at birth with multiple disabilities to include profound Cerebral Palsy, she was inspired to begin her career within the Garland Independent School District as a Special Education Aide. From there Sonja realized that through post-secondary education additional opportunities would open doors to make a difference within the community of those living with disabilities, to include: mental health, physical, intellectual, and Autism. With a strong focus on families and aging care-givers seeking to secure their child's future through employment and independence to the fullest extent possible, she holds fast to the philosophy that regardless of what the disability might be, the transition from high school to employment is still a viable and achievable goal, for the "glass is always half-full" and regardless of ability challenges everyone can still learn. Career experience includes case management, employment within the public & private sector, and finally entrepreneurial business endeavors developing service provider contracts with the Texas & Wisconsin state agencies providing vocational rehabilitation services. Vocational Rehabilitation service contracts include the following programs: Supported Employment, Job Placement, Job Coaching, Job Shadowing, and Temporary/Internship Employment. She also serves as the Chief Consultant & VP with Life Abilities, Inc. in Texas (dba: www.camdencamden.com). Sonja's hobbies include reading, music, traveling whenever possible, and most importantly family time with wonderful adult children, grandchildren and a host of friends when time permits.
